Rana Sioufi, PhD

Psychologist


Rana Sioufi is a clinical psychologist specializing in adult psychodynamic therapy at Rose Hill Psychological Services. She received her B.S. in psychology from the University of Ottawa and Ph.D. in Psychology from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). She has extensive experience working with college and graduate students, having completed an internship and a postdoctoral fellowship at Fordham University, Counseling and Psychological Services. She has published on intercultural communication, acculturation among majority and minority groups, and ethnolinguistic vitality. Other interests include sociocultural approaches to emotional distress, more recently focusing on the link between connectedness to others/nature and well-being. In addition to English, Rana speaks French and Arabic.
