Boris Fligelman received his medical degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He has since been working at Montefiore Medical Center with people of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, and life histories. His interest and focus have been the use of psychodynamic psychotherapy as a vehicle for growth and treatment of acute suffering. Boris uses other therapeutic techniques, which he integrates into his psychodynamic framework to provide the most helpful person-centered care. This represents his larger philosophy of understanding people’s individual life-experiences and challenges rather than trying to fit them into conventional categories.
