Liam Reilly received his M.A. in Clinical Psychology at Long Island University-Brooklyn and is now a fifth year Ph.D. candidate. Mr. Reilly’s research interests lie in understanding the relationships between self-awareness, self-deception and self-protection. He is particularly interested in challenging whether self-report measures accurately and consistently depict one’s level of mental health or if objective measures such as clinical judgment or physiological reactivity provide a more nuanced picture of one’s mental health. He has presented his research at numerous psychology conferences including the Society for Personality Assessment. Therapeutically, he specializes in work with individuals who are struggling with issues related self-esteem and identity, interpersonal difficulties, and challenging life or developmental transitions.
