Brian Lillard, MSW

Psychotherapist

Brian is a psychodynamic psychotherapist at Rose Hill Psychological Services. He works with adults, couples, and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, and interpersonal conflicts, and welcomes those navigating life transitions, school and career challenges, substance use, and sexuality, identity, and intimacy issues. Embracing the view that suffering is connected to both past and present experience, he believes psychotherapy can lead to lasting change and greater well-being.

Brian is dedicated to creating a trusting, non-judgmental space to explore whatever comes to mind, including difficult thoughts and feelings. He leads with curiosity to find what works for each unique patient and has experience working with the LGBTQ+ community, survivors of abuse and trauma, people living with chronic and terminal illness, and professionals working in demanding environments.

Prior to pursuing training in psychotherapy Brian worked as a vice president at a global investment and technology firm, where he cultivated an interest in strategies to elevate motivation, self-awareness, communication, and performance. He holds an MSW degree from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and a BA degree in Music from Amherst College.
