Charlie Stephenson, LMSW

Charlie is a psychodynamic psychotherapist currently working with adults, adolescents and children at Rose Hill. Charlie welcomes patients dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and substance-use as well as those asking questions about relationships, career, sexuality and gender-identity. He holds a Masters in Clinical Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter college and Bachelors of Arts in History from Beloit College. 

Charlie has extensive experience working with young people, in particular those who identify as LGBTQ+. Charlie began his career as chess player and educator and has an appreciation for the challenges that high-functioning, analytic thinkers often face. He is sensitive to the ways that racial and economic injustice affect his patients.
