Ekin Demirörs
LP Intern
Ekin is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist intern working with children, adolescents and adults at Rose Hill Psychological Services. She welcomes patients to speak and be listened to in their unique set of circumstances. She believes that therapeutic work can give us a chance to explore the way in which the past unfolds into the present.
She is undergoing her psychoanalytic training at Pulsion: The International Institute of Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychosomatics. She is also a PhD candidate in Philosophy at The New School. Her background in philosophical thought informs her clinical approach and is undertaken primarily as an investigation of truth.
