Evan Chethik is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist who works with adults, adolescents, and children at both Rose Hill Psychological Services and the Affordable Psychoanalytic Clinic for Pulsion. His B.A. is from New York University in philosophy of mind and his M.A. is in the philosophy of psychoanalysis from The New School. He is a psychoanalytic candidate at Pulsion Institute of Psychoanalysis and Psychosomatics.

Evan has received training for working with people experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, panic, overwhelming feelings or moods, and obsessive compulsions, amongst others. He believes empathy, openness, and the intimacy of speaking can free oneself from self-restriction and unconscious suffering. In working with children, he is attentive to both the needs of the child and the parent while giving room for both to grow in their relationship with one another. Evan also works with people going through changes or periods of questioning in their identity and sexuality.
