Gabrielle Friedman, LMSW

Psychotherapist


Gabrielle is a psychotherapist at Rose Hill Psychological Services who provides psychodynamic psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. She holds a Master's degree in Social Work from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. While obtaining her MSW, Gabrielle trained extensively in psychodynamic psychotherapy, interpersonal dynamics, and psychosocial systems. Gabrielle received her B.A. in Clinical Psychology from Hunter College. 

Gabrielle is dedicated to meeting patients where they are. She aims to facilitate internal curiosity and creativity within individuals experiencing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, trauma, family dynamics, social stigma/prejudice, and identity development. She works to create a safe and open therapeutic environment that fosters genuine growth and self-understanding in the face of these challenges. 

Gabrielle comprehensively understands questions and curiosity regarding queerness, sexuality, and gender. She recognizes that each person is a unique individual and welcomes full expression of any and all identities.
