James Ziv
MSW Intern
James is a graduate social work intern working with adults and couples at Rose Hill. He is currently completing his Master of Social Work at New York University. Before entering the mental health field, he earned his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Florida and worked in the technology industry.
James works with people experiencing anxiety, depression, complex trauma, emotional overwhelm, and recurring difficulties in their relationships. He is particularly interested in helping those who feel caught in familiar patterns they want to understand and change. Drawing from psychodynamic and psychoanalytic perspectives, he approaches therapy with curiosity and compassion, helping clients explore how their histories and inner emotional lives may shape their present experiences. He welcomes LGBTQ+ individuals and couples and provides affirming, nonjudgmental care.
