Mimi Howard is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist intern working with adults and adolescents at Rose Hill Psychological Services. She works with patients of all backgrounds, listening attentively to the ways that social and material conditions come to shape symptoms and psychical conflicts. Mimi welcomes patients struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, illness, grief, and creative or professional blockages.

Mimi is a psychoanalytic candidate at Pulsion: The International Institute of Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychosomatics. Prior to Rose Hill, she completed a fellowship at a social services agency serving low-income and immigrant older adults on the Lower East Side and Chinatown. She holds a PhD and MPhil in Political Thought from the University of Cambridge, and a BA in History from Reed College. Her clinical practice is informed by her background as a writer and researcher.
