Sara Lopez
LP Intern
Sara Lopez is a psychodynamic psychotherapist working with adults, adolescents, and children at Rose Hill Psychological Services. Welcoming people from all backgrounds and identities, she has a particular attunement and expertise in addressing issues ranging from depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, sexuality, difficulties in creative practice, life transitions, and somatic illness.
With close attention to the singularity of one’s speech and the logic a symptom expresses, Sara creates the space to re-architect a wanted life for oneself, taking into consideration the one already lived. She prioritizes a nonjudgmental therapeutic approach where an individual’s unique and particular desires, feelings, thoughts, and curiosities can find full exploration in their expansive discomfort and pleasure.
Sara holds a Master of Arts in Performance Studies from New York University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota. She is currently completing psychoanalytic training for LP certification at Pulsion: The International Institute of Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychosomatics.
