Stacey Reimann, LMSW

Psychotherapist

Stacey is a psychotherapist working with adolescents, couples, and groups. They have particular interest in using psychodynamic psychoanalytic interventions to help uncover resources and perspectives within the patient. Rooted in understanding each patient’s unique context and culture, Stacey’s approach is tailored to the individual and explores how our relationships - past and present - offer a blueprint for how we heal and how we live. Sessions with Stacey might include talking through uncertain or difficult emotions, noticing patterns in the present that may be informed by past experiences, and listening to not only what is said but what also goes unsaid. With couples, focuses include navigating differences of identity, sexual desire, or values; practicing non-monogamy and open relationships; & building mutually-determined communication strategies.

Stacey’s background includes training in Sex and Relationship Therapy, seeing patients asking questions of gender and sexuality, going through major life changes or loss, & moving through familial and relational conflict. They also have experience working with social movements and believe that sociopolitical forces like marginalization and global conflict inform the therapeutic process. Stacey welcomes patients who desire for therapy to be a space where creativity and spirituality can be explored and fostered. They come to Rose Hill from working as a youth educator with an adventure-based social-emotional learning program and bring playfulness and wonder to child and adolescent therapy.

Stacey holds a B.A. from University of Chicago and a Master’s in Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work.
